Natalie Fabri-Romuzga
My mission is to help people reconnect with their true selves and regain a sense of wholeness. Since relationships can both hurt and heal us, the quality of the relationship I build with my clients is at the core of my work. Using empathy, curiosity, and a non- judgmental attitude, I create a safe space for you to explore even the most vulnerable parts of yourself on your path to self-discovery and healing. Through Compassionate Inquiry, I guide clients into a deep inner exploration by involving their body in the process. Together, we tap into the body’s wisdom to uncover the roots of emotional pain, addictions, coping mechanisms, and core beliefs. This body-centred approach makes Compassionate Inquiry unique compared to many traditional talk therapies, which often focus only on verbal expression and cognitive insights. By including bodily awareness, clients can better process emotions, release trauma, and achieve more complete and holistic healing.
My Background
I grew up in Los Angeles, California, where I earned a Master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on the psychology of trauma in populations. In 2014, I moved to Belgium and began working at an international communications agency. As European Director, I spent nearly a decade coaching, mentoring, and developing the European team. During this time, I noticed how childhood traumas, core beliefs, and unhealthy coping strategies often created obstacles in people’s professional lives. This realization inspired me to learn counselling and coaching skills. I introduced compassionate leadership and safety training in the workplace to help professionals identify and overcome personal challenges that held them back from achieving their goals. In 2023, I completed a year-long Compassionate Inquiry training program with Gabor Maté and his team. Since then, I have used this trauma-informed, body-centred approach to work with individuals around the world.
My Approach:
- Relational: Building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my
work. - Experiential: I focus on what emerges in the present moment, helping clients understand how current patterns—like emotional avoidance, addiction, negative self- beliefs, or people-pleasing—were once survival mechanisms. Together, we explore these behaviours without judgment and discover new, healthier ways to move forward.
- Holistic: My approach connects mind and body, exploring trauma with curiosity and offering a space for deep, whole-person healing.
